A career reinsurance practitioner, Simba is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA) with over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. His work experience includes treaty and facultative underwriting, business development, operations management and training. Simba has worked in Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa and has conducted business across Africa and on the international markets. He has working experience as a reinsurance broker, direct underwriter and reinsurer.

He is highly qualified insurance practitioner with the following qualifications: Master of Business Administration (NUST), Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Insurance and Risk Management (NUST), IISA Advanced Programme in Insurance Practice, Programme in Risk Management (UNISA) and a Diploma in Marketing (IMM). 

Simba is an experienced insurance and reinsurance broker with experience of operating a start-up company, being the founder of MUKFIN, an international reinsurance brokerage based in South Africa. Simba is also passionate about skills development in the insurance sector and to pursue this he also founded Entwise Training and Consulting.

Simba has been instrumental in the skills development space in Southern Africa by providing insurance and reinsurance training through the local Insurance Institutes in South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Lesotho, Angola, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
